To add to this discussion, I'd like to ask, "How does one know if or when it is the right time to move on from old friends?" While I will always cherish the memories from my oldest pals, sometimes it feels as if the relationship stopped growing along with our post-pubescent bodies. In high school you let people get away with behavior that your adult self wouldn't tolerate, but your old friends don't seem to know that you no longer wish to put up with the bullshit that seemed intrinsic to "friendship" back then. Does this make sense?
