The night my sister Diana was born. (The night we went to see her.) All I remember is that it was night time and everything was very serious and very exciting. We were getting out of the car at the hospital and we were behaving ourselves. I knew it was a big deal and that I was going to meet my sister for the first time. And she was the most fascinating and perfect baby ever.
He was sitting in a booth on campus advertising some event. I told him my name and he left the booth and we started "talking." (Is it considered a conversation if you aren't really listening?) I didn't hear a word he said, but I just looked at him in the eyes and smiled for over an hour. I don't think I ever told him that this was my first memory...
